Q: IT IS THE END OF THE MARKING PERIOD THIS WEEK AND ALL OF MY TEACHERS ARE GIVING TESTS! WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STUDY FOR ALL OF THEM?

Same here reader! As seniors we have had our fair share of multi-test days and there is only one way to go about them: cram! Jk, jk, even though we have often crammed and prayed, this method is definitely the wrong way to go about tests. The best way is to divide and conquer. Typically teachers will tell you a few days in advance if you have a test (unless you are Craig Merrill), so *gasp* whip out your books a few days before the dreaded test date. Study a class a day and before you know it, you’ll have history, algebra, and bio done. Then you can actually get some sleep the night before and heck, maybe you’ll even have some time to finish that episode of One Tree Hill you missed!

On the other hand, group study sessions don’t work. Trust us they are myths. If you and your pals are planning on going to Panera to study all you’re going to do is complain about the tests, gossip, and end up talking about how your favorite character died on Grey’s Anatomy for 45 minutes. You would be better off taking a nap for 2 hours and pulling an all-nighter. If you want a solid study session, go in for extra help with your friends during lunch or after school with your teacher. Then you can hang out with your friends and get stuff done. It has taken us four years to learn this technique, but we’re telling you your grades will thank you for it.
