Why Don't You Just GOOGLE It?

While Google has been around for quite a long time, it seems that now, it is at the center of the Sparta High School universe. Google Docs, Drive and Classroom, are the mediums through which teachers extend their classroom walls and hours. Students have the freedom to collaborate on assignments without having to leave the confines of their homes. Better yet, if a student is involved with sports, activties, or employment, they have the freedom to use their smartphone Google Drive Apps to get the job done!

Each student now has their own Google account that grants them access to all Google apps including G-mail. Students are encouraged to use their school email accounts for school business only and are held accountable through the Acceptable Use policy.

The Google Applications for Education Initiative (GAFE) is truly honing in on students 21st century skills and preparing them for what comes next whether it is college, the military or the work force.
