Pass it Along offers many opportunities for students in the area to give back to the community. One special activity, headed by Sparta High School’s Claire Mundi, is Knit and Crochet for a Cause. On two Tuesdays of every month, volunteers gather at the Sparta High School Library knit or crochet hats for needy children. In the past the hats have been donated to Tilly’s Kids in Newark, NJ and The First Presbyterian Church’s food bank in Sparta, NJ .

SHS Senior, Claire Mundi Hats are handmade by Mundi and teacher, Robin Cutillo
