Cheerios or Cheeri-NO's?

This week, Cheerios has been recalling 1.8 million boxes of cereal that they originally deemed as “gluten-free”. These boxes were supposed to lack wheat, which is a major source of gluten in people’s diets, but was accidentally put in regardless of the fact. With nearly 1 in 100 people in the American population having some form of Celiac Disease (allergy to gluten), General Mills is causing consumers a lot of dissatisfaction. The company has released a statement telling those affected by this disastrous mistake to call 1-800-775-8370 for further reports and information. So far, many have been suffering while the incident is in the middle of being resolved. Sorry to all of our readers with celiac disease, but Cheerios may not be the best choice for a little while!
